To be the man, you gotta beat the man. Here is an excerpt from Steve Greene's review of ESPN's "Nature Boy":

“Ric Flair” is a creation that hasn’t necessarily diminished with time, but one whose bombast deserves a renewed consideration. By taking some of the focus off of his in-the-ring exploits, “Nature Boy” can’t re-write the wrongs of Flair’s personal life, but it can show the dangers of conflating the man and the myth.

No matter how many titans pass through the WWE, there will be only one Andre the Giant. Here is an excerpt from Daniel Fienberg's review of HBO's "Andre the Giant":

Andre the Giant was so captivating a figure, and Andre the Giant captures so much of how and why he was impossible to look away from. It's just that the unexpected pathos and humanity that he often brought into the ring leaves me also craving more of a man who, it could turn out, was just a myth wrapped in a bigger myth.
