Los Angeles Angels two-way star Shohei Ohtani has gotten his MLB career off to a great start. Not only did he strikeout six batters in his first big league start, and win, he also notched his first home run in his first at-bat at home. Many people think he is on track to be the next player to win 10 games as a pitcher and hit 10 home runs in one season, like Rick Ankiel and Babe Ruth. Still, it's a long season and Ohtani has yet to face the inevitable rookie wall. What do you think? ⚾

All aboard the Ohtani hype train! The Angels two-way star won his first start and hit a home run in his first home at-bat. That's not an anomaly. It's going to be a trend for the rest of the season.

After people started labeling him a bust, Ohtani has come out of the gates hot and ready to prove all his doubters wrong. MLB is looking at the new Babe Ruth.

Let's pump the brakes a bit. Shohei Ohtani didn't play even week of real baseball before people started proclaiming his ascension into Babe Ruth territory. MLB managers are really good at adjusting to hot-starting talent. They will figure the best way to unbalance Ohtani at the plate and hitters will figure out the perfect approach to get him off the mound.

This is professional sports. Ohtani will be exposed and extinguished in no time.
