It's that time of year again. The real NHL season begins. The Stanley Cup is up for grabs and 16 teams are vying the biggest prize in hockey. In the first round, the Pittsburgh Penguins face off against the Philadelphia Flyers. The Penguins are seeking their third straight Stanley Cup title and can probably do it with Sidney Crosby leading the way. However, in-state rival Philadelphia has Claude Giroux who can get hot and carry the team. Who advances? 🏒

Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and head coach Mike Sullivan were unstoppable in the playoffs last year, winning the Pens a second straight Stanley Cup. Now with Kris Letang back in the fold, there is nothing that will stop this deep Penguins team. Pittsburgh is going to have no problem with Philadelphia.

There is no team that gets under SIdney Crosby's skin quite like the Philadelphia Flyers. If they can continue frustrating him, the Flyers can beat the Penguins with ease. With Giroux playing at an MVP level this season, Philadelphia can finally take its rightful place as the best Pennsylvania hockey team. This is the Flyers year. They're going to destroy Pittsburgh.
