The real NBA season begins with the NBA Playoffs. 16 teams will be vying for the biggest prize in basketball. In the first round, the Philadelphia 76ers face the Miami Heat. The 76ers' process is finally coming to fruition behind the emergence of Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons. However, the Heat have one of the better defensive units in the NBA. Who advances? 🏀

The Process is close to completion. After years of tanking, the 76ers have finally seen the fruits of their labor come to life. Joel Embiid became an All-Star, averaging 22.9 points and 11 rebounds while rookie Ben Simmons has shown off his five-tool skill set, dropping dimes and rapidly defending the basket.

The 76ers have been a league doormat for a while. This is the year they leap into contending for a title. Miami does not stand a chance.

The Heat have been overlooked all season, and it will come back to bite the rest of the league. Erik Spoelstra has proven his success wasn't just a product of LeBron James, getting Miami to play team ball and finishing the season only allowing 102.9 points per game—good for second in the Eastern Conference.

Defense is the key to winning any playoff series, and the Heat can stuff teams with the best of them. The Process will not continue when the Heat is turned up.
