The real NBA season begins with the NBA Playoffs. 16 teams will be vying for the biggest prize in basketball. In the first round, the Oklahoma City Thunder face the Utah Jazz. The Thunder has Russell Westbrook returning to the playoffs with some All-Star talent around him. However, Utah has a superstar in the making in Donovan Mitchell who isn't afraid of the big stage. Who advances? 🏀

Russell Westbrook became the only player to average a triple-double twice in the NBA history. Still, those numbers don't mean much if he gets eliminated in the first round of the playoffs like last year.

However, unlike last year, Westbrook has two All-Star players to lean on when teams key in on him, giving the Thunder a three-headed monster most teams can't handle. With Paul George and Carmelo Anthony helping Brodie out, Utah will not advance.

When Gordon Hayward left the Jazz, everyone left the team for dead. But Donovan Mitchell's quick ascension to stardom has carried the team on offense and made Utah a threat in the postseason. The former Louisville guard leads the Jazz with 20.5 points per game and has a penchant for making clutch shots.

The team's defense is also second-best in the league, only giving up 99.8 points per game. If Russell Westbrook, Paul George and Carmelo Anthony can't score, there is no way they can win. The Jazz are going to have no trouble stuffing the Thunder.
