President Trump canceled his June 12 summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in response to "tremendous anger and open hostility" from Pyongyang. Many argue this decision was premature, and Trump should reschedule the meeting. But others applauded Trump, arguing his decision to walk away from the summit sends a clear message to the North Koreans that they "cannot play the United States." What do you think?

President Trump released a letter canceling his planned summit with Kim Jong Un, citing “tremendous anger and open hostility” from Pyongyang.

North Korea hardened its rhetoric toward the U.S. earlier Thursday, warning it was ready for a “nuclear-to-nuclear” showdown if the U.S. didn’t follow through on the summit.
“You talk about your nuclear capabilities, but ours are so massive and powerful that I pray to God they will never have to be used,” Trump wrote.

Many believe Trump made the wrong decision.

Diplomacy is tough stuff, and Trump doesn't seem willing to put the work in.

But others feel Trump made the right decision. The North Koreans were trying to play him.

It's not crazy that a president would walk away from a summit that wouldn't be productive.

Trump is sending a clear message to Kim Jong Un, and that's don't mess with the U.S.
