When three different animals become infected with a dangerous pathogen, a primatologist and a geneticist team up to stop them from destroying Chicago.

Some critics argue that "Rampage" is what it says it is and that's alright. "Rampage" delivers the action, adventure, and fun. The Detroit News' Adam Graham writes:

This is the movie "Pacific Rim Uprising" wanted to be, this is the movie "Tomb Raider" should have been. Pure entertainment, "Rampage" is a smashing good time.

Below is the synopsis of "Kong: Skull Island," per IMDB

A team of scientists explore an uncharted island in the Pacific, venturing into the domain of the mighty Kong, and must fight to escape a primal Eden.

Fans are excited about Warner Bros. Pictures' MonsterVerse featuring Godzilla and King Kong. Kong is King, after all!

Some critics are saying "Rampage" is too unoriginal and too much like "King Kong" or other zoomorphic franchises.

But what's wrong with a little mindless action?
