Panic! at the Disco (PATD) and Fall Out Boy stood out for marrying catchy mainstream pop melodies with loud guitars and fast tempos. Enter pop punk! PATD rose to prominence with their debut studio album "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out," certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Fall Out Boy had already gained mainstream success before "Infinity on High" dropped in 2007, topping the Billboard 200. Which band is more iconic? 🎸🎤

Panic! at the Disco garnered mainstream success from the jump. Their debut album "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out" went double platinum and the band scored their first, and only, Billboard Hot 100 hit: "I Write Sins Not Tragedies." While the band had continued success throughout the aughts, PATD gained their first #1 smash album with "Death of a Bachelor" in 2016.

Fall Out Boy's rise to mainstream success hit a new milestone with their third album, "Infinity of High," topping the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart in 2007. The chart-topping LP featured Hot 100 smashes "This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race" and "Thnks fr th Mmrs."  Fall Out Boy's core band members are still going strong, embracing their longevity as a band.
