The trailer to "Transformers" prequel "Bumblebee" recently dropped, turning some reluctant fans into former skeptics. Autobot fans now have high hopes for the upcoming family-friendly blockbuster after two minutes of footage. Others point out the film is reminiscent of "The Iron Giant," and that's a beautiful thing. Others are tired of "Transformers" movies and think the film is more apt to sting than to fly. What do you think?

On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie, on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken.

And detractors argue Paramount needs to stop adding to the horrible franchise.
