"Atlanta" and "Insecure" are among the most acclaimed comedies out. "Atlanta" won Golden Globes for Best Actor (for Donald Glover) and Best Television Series - Musical or Comedy, and there's already lots of love for the show's new second season. Issa Rae, the creator of the popular web series "Awkward Black Girl," co-created and stars in the universally-acclaimed series "Insecure." The HBO comedy slays so hard that Issa's now producing two new HBO shows too. But which comedy is your favorite? 📺

Donald Glover plays Earn Marks in FX's "Atlanta," an ambitious rap artist and college dropout who tries to reconnect with his estranged cousin—who happens to be a rising star in Atlanta's underground rap scene.

The show was acclaimed breakout hit of 2016 with a 100 percent fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and now the show's second season also has a 100 percent fresh rating thus far. The comedy has scored many award show nominations and many accolades, including Donald Glover's win for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Musical or Comedy.

Issa Rae carried over her "Awkward Black Girl" success to HBO. She and Larry Wilmore co-created "Insecure," which is about a young black woman's awkward experiences in work, culture, relationships and life, overall.

Issa Rae continues to tear down stereotypes about black women while highlighting everyday experiences. Like her web series, "Insecure" is lauded; the first season and the second season both hold a 100 percent fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
